Firefly Airlines will commence three new routes in August 2011. From August 1 they will offer two flights per day from Kuala Lumpur to Sandakan, from August 14 three flights per week from Johor Bahru to Surabaya, and from August 16 four flights per week from Johor Bahru to Bandung. Introductory fares are available until sold out and start from MYR90 (USD30) for one-way travel.
Quoted fares are the lowest available price and taxes and airline surcharges are additional. Promotional fares are not available on all travel dates. Firefly is a budget airline and the quoted price is a “Seat Only” fare inclusive of taxes and surcharges. Upgrading to a “Standard Fare” costs an additional MYR68(USD22) for international flights and includes advance seat selection, a meal and bottle of water, and 1 piece of checked luggage up to 15kg.
